Job Description:

DubaiPermanentWe are currently looking to recruit a Patent Analyst or a Senior Patent Paralegal to be based in our DIFC office. Duties and responsibilities are as follows but are not limited to: Patent filing and prosecution of patent applications in various countries in the region and abroad, including managing, preparing, and/or filing patent applications, formality documents, responses to office actions, publications and grants, payment of official fees; processing, docketing and reporting notifications from patent offices; Managing tasks of others including patent administrators; Managing admin work such as docketing and managing internal records, managing statutory deadlines and invoices; Managing Patent Portfolios; Conducting patent searches and preparing reports/opinions Skills and experience The ideal candidate will have: Background in Engineering/ Life Sciences; 3-4 years of experience in patent filing and prosecution in a law firm; Excellent written and communication skills in English (additional languages are advantageous) Experience working in an international law firm or as an examiner in a patent office.
