Jebel AliRole Summary: The Contracts Manager will provide broad-based and thorough commercial contract management support to the project management group through the entire lifecycle of the EPC power project including engineering, manufacturing, delivery, construction, installation, commissioning, commercial operation, and final contract closeout. Essential Responsibilities: The Contracts Manager develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. Represent GE interests in customer and internal meetings for project close outs as well as active projects and future contracts Report commercial risks, mitigation, and resolution to management via business segment risk reviews, and assume a role in developing world-class risk mitigation strategies Drive Contract Management Margin Enhancement program in the assigned segment/region with focus on change order management, negotiation of settlement agreements within established financial reserves etc Provide commercial / contractual support in the development and implementation of negotiation strategies to mitigate contractual risks on assigned projects Assist in the preparation of presentations, negotiation of claims, and the writing and execution of settlement agreements to resolve issues Support electronic order release system including interfacing with information systems for problem resolution and system enhancement as well as related database and administrative tools Participate in the maintenance of Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) / Order-to-Remittance (OTR) contract management databases such as Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Terms and Conditions (T&Cs), consortium management database and construction subcontract databases and liquidated damages and insurance recovery databases Support efforts to pursue Insurance / Supplier Recovery as appropriate Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college At least 10 additional years of experience in project management, financial or commercial contract management. At least one year of negotiation and customer facing experience. Under the overall guidance and the direct supervision of the FC Manager, based in Dubai --UAE, the incumbent shall have the following duties and responsibilities: KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive) Front Office Receptionist duties. Take documents around for signature, scan signed papers and ensure their receipt by addressee. Deliver keys and shipping documents between warehouses, workshop and UNHRD premises ensuring all documents are signed and confirmed. Liaise with facilities management such as workmen, cleaning etc. to ensure controlled access to Fleet Centre premises and all works are done. Administrative Maintain the FC accessory stock inventory master list. On the basis of job cards prepared by workshop manager assemble and assign the correct accessories to each work order/technician. Monitor the availability of accessories and alert workshop supervisor to order new inventory in a timely manner. Perform a physical count of accessories at the end of every month. Updating the list of FC focal points for every country in the world. Assist in maintaining PO & BOE records of all feet centre warehouse items. Creat PR/ MPO for Fleet Centre. Help to update invoicing status in FW & FC Assets status in excel sheet. Add/Edit/ Remove stock in FW(FMS). Assist finance in completing Invoices for each FC customer quarterly. Assist FC staff in their duties during peak times.
