Dubai -We are hiring a registered staff nurse to join our nursing team in Dubai - Herbal & Treatment Centre. The position is responsible to promote and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with medical and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families. This position will report directly to the Patient Relations Manager and Head Nurse KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize clinical expertise to provide a high standard of holistic care to clinic clients, based on a full assessment of the individual needs. Ensure efficient and coordinated clinic flow by coordinating and planning clinic activities; communicates patient’s needs; makes referrals; serves as a resource person of insurance information. Providing nursing care to patients/clients in a manner that is responsive to individual needs and which is supported by the application of evidence-based nursing knowledge and research Deliver direct patient care; assesses the patient by taking the vital signs (Blood pressure, weight, height, temperature) informs the physician of patient status; responds to phone messages from patients and informs physicians as needed; orders supplies; stocks and maintains patient’s rooms; sterilizes instruments. Administer medications as assigned (intramuscular, intravenous); serves as a resource person for knowledge of medication uses, side effects, and dosage; checks for proper medication order; documents medications; obtains required consent forms to administer infusion and/or Ozone Therapy. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Report relevant clinical information to the medical team. Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures. Ensure all documentation is accurate and legible. Maintain patient confidence and protects operations by keeping the information confidential KEY CRITERIA: Candidates must be a B.Sc. Nursing Degree Holder from accredited College or University. 2+ years’ full-time experience as a registered nurse, preferably including working experience in UAE. Valid DHA license is mandatory. Knowledge of nursing process, medication administration, clinical protocols, pathways and guidelines. KEY SKILLS: Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written) Quality and service oriented with pleasant personality. Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to use Hospital management system and MS office. Commitment to continuous medicine education.
