About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly talented and experienced Waiter/ess to join the Food & Beverage team of Madinat Jumeirah Resort. Your main duties will include the following: Identify customer needs and expectations correctly, including those with special needs, and provide appropriate products, services or information Meet all reasonable needs and requests of customers within acceptable enterprise time frames Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service Recognize customer dissatisfaction promptly and take action to resolve the situation according to individual level of responsibility and Madinat Jumeirah customer feedback/ complaint procedures Offer assistance to colleagues when required, to ensure designated work goals are met Demonstrate trust, support and respect towards team members in day-to-day work activities Conduct communication with customers and colleagues in a polite, professional and friendly manner Practice high standards of personal presentation in accordance with Jumeirah Grooming & Presentation Standards Have a working understanding of all Madinat Jumeirah Food and Beverage Restaurant and Bars in order to properly direct and advise guests Anticipate customer needs and expectations correctly, including those with special needs, and provide appropriate products, services or information Meet all reasonable needs and requests of customers within acceptable enterprise time frames Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service (upselling, guest recognition, resort knowledge) Recognize customer dissatisfaction promptly and take action to resolve the situation according to individual level of responsibility and customer feedback/ complaint procedures About the benefits: This position offers a highlycompetitive salary and package which includes: fully furnished sharedaccommodation, free transport to and from your place of work, uniform, laundryservices, meals during working hours, You will be entitled to one returnticket to your home destination, which will be paid in two installments, oneper anniversary year, medical coverage as well as accident insurance, retailand leisure discounts, 50% discount off Jumeirah F&B Outlets and reducedhotel rates. About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Successfully completed Secondary Education Have at least 1 years' experience in a similar role in 5 star luxury hotel Highly driven and motivated individual with a good knowledge and understanding of Food and Beverage operations Have good command of the English language (spoken and written) Additional language will be desirable
