Job Description:
DubaiTemporary, PermanentWe are currently looking for a bilingual HR Advisor to join our team in Dubai for a 6 month period. The main duties for the selected candidate will be:
Operational Responsibilities:
Coordinating employee’s on-boarding processes to ensure the department’s requirements and the employee’s expectations are met in within the allocated time frame, hiring specifications and any other demands.
Identifying and implementing changes to the procedures and services in order to increase efficiency within the HR Operations Department, to ensure continuous enhancement to the ways we deliver services in the department.
Responsible for on boarding employees, offer letters and contract drafting.
Ensuring employees files are maintained to both the Firm’s and Regulatory standards,
Collaborating with the HR Operations department to implement innovative activities to achieve the department’s strategic objectives
Communicating employees status related to employment changes or any other request associated with employee requests or needs
Monitoring the changes in labour law to recommend to the management policy changes to improve the employee engagement and departments overall services.
Preparing and/or reviewing statistical reports of joiners, leavers and employees change of status
Update country guidelines for new joiners and clearly communicate to employees and management any factor that may impact the employee or the business
Ensure delivery of excellent customer service to prospective, current and existing employees
Assist with any other HR operational needs,
Skills and experience
Candidates who would like to be considered for the role should have the following skills and experience:
At least 3 years’ HR experience within a law firm or a similar professional services firm
Proven experience in devising creative solutions to handle or manage complex on-boarding processes and HR administrative issues
Fluent in Arabic and English
Previous experince in the UAE or MENA region
Excellent IT skills, including working with document management systems, document production and drafting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including impeccable oral and written communication skills
Excellent skills in organisation, research, analysis, problem solving and time management
Advanced skills in drafting email communication, reports and correspondence
High level observance of confidentiality , judgment, tact and discretion
The department
The Al Tamimi & Company HR Operations department is responsible for providing services within the HR Department related to business operations. HR Operations responsibilitie's include employee on-boarding and related administrative services, relationship management and any other activity related to the employee day-to-day services during its lifecycle.
The HR Operations department’s main goal is to become a centre of excellence recognised by employees of the Firm as the go to place when requesting HR services, orientation and support, to maintain employees needs are engaged and identified within the Firm
This role requires a service-orientated professional who understands and will promote the HR Operations objectives and services, and will form a fundamental part of the image and initial employee engagement. The role is employee relationship focused with responsibility for managing the on boarding, guidance and services provided to employees during the life cycle of the employee, including but not limited to the on-boarding compliance, payroll and exit activities.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter, creative problem solver and team player who is collaborative yet comfortable making decisions, impeccable oral and written communications skills and a demonstrated ability in service delivery, technology, streamlined processes and efficiency are essential. The ideal candidate also thrives on meeting challenges in demanding environment.
