We areseeking a Production Coordinator for our Metal Fabrication Department. The successful candidate will help assist our Production Manager to manage 30 team members and be responsible for streamlining our production process for maximum output. Our metal fabrication department produces custom metal products such as high-end stainless steel FFE, gold or brass electroplated mashrabiya, elaborate handrails, architectural design elements, and manufacturingof structural steel.for our customers within G.C.C.The candidate should have at least one-year of management experience here in the U.A.E. Must have Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or any related degree or equivalent technical education is required.Job DescriptionThe Production Coordinator administers and coordinates the daily operations of the factory under the direction of the Production Manager. The Production Coordinator will work with a team of Foremen and Draftsmen to manage multiple projects along with being a leader in cost control, quantity tracking, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.Responsibilities: Obtain and review necessary shop drawings, fabrication steps set by Production Manager before distributing to Foremen.Manage and monitor daily production set by Production Manager by coordinating between Engineers, and Foremen.Assist the Production Manager on the collection of information for change orders, and the estimation of changes on the job. Collaboration with the Client on these items would occur only with the approval of the Managing Director.Utilize scheduling program to track the progress of fabrication between projects.
