Dubai -Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: Responsible for creation and execution of the Emerging Markets short and medium-term objectives for BU Training and delivering across all KPIs. Implement global strategies in a locally relevant way while influencing the development of global strategies, through providing relevant commercial input in terms of consumer, market and channel needs. Responsible for building a product range for the dedicated Category that fulfills the needs of the EM Hub and Clusters, which is competitive in terms of completeness, structure, price and margin. Collaborate regularly with global counter parts to identify business opportunities and to maximize net sales and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for range selection and alignment process for dedicated category within the parameters set by the CTC Range Architecture team to meet the KPI’s Responsible for all aspects of category management in the range including segmentation to meet all KPIs incl. efficiency, productivity, overlap, top line, margin To build the seasonal Merchandising assortments, based on consumer insight, contributing to the success of the product strategy and KPI achievement Ensure high data quality and timely handover for all Merchandising tools (i.e. IBP, ILS, RMA…) Build and collect Merchandising market insight through market interaction and sales analysis with focus on Direct-To-Consumer channel and Clusters Responsible for Commercial Input into Global, and creating and embedding a process with the Clusters to ensure their input is made To support and combine efforts with other functions involved in Ranging (MOPS, CTC, BUBA,…) Support regular analysis of competitor activity and analyse market trends KPIs: Brand Health KPIS (Net Promoter Score) Net Sales and GIM% planned brand growth Market Direct Brand Contribution vs Plan WWTW account market sales vs forecast Process KPIs (timing, qualitative contribution, Range size and efficiency…) Market Sales vs Plan Key Relationships: EM DTC & CTC Assortment Planning teams Clusters Merchandising Teams EM Training Brand Activation Channel & Sales teams Demand Planning EM Hub CtC and MOPS team Global Training BU Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A personal interest in Sports, Fashion and Sportswear or respective industry background Previous experience in category management/merchandising/ranging Strong analytical skills and attention to detail High influencing skills and ability to make fact-based decisions Consumer-focused with ranging experience, able to balance brand and commercial aspects Ability to draw conclusions / define recommendations for action based on analytics Structured, organized and process-orientated way of working Strong engaging presentation style Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures Flexibility to travel internationally Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: University degree in business, ideally in Marketing 3+ years Merchandising experience, ideally in sporting goods, fashion or youth culture brands Fluent in English (verbal and written) Proficient in MS Office, mainly Excel and PowerPoint
