Key Responsibilities: Support day to day software development activities as assigned by Software Engineering Leader/Manager. Code computer programs. Adhere to all metrics and parameters associated with each project through completion of project. Timely completion of assigned tasks as per project requirements. Complete assigned projects within set timeline within set quality parameters. Assist other Software Engineers complete assigned tasks. Develop module specification documents for internal purpose. Check coding standards and deliverables against each project/product specifications for their own and their junior engineers before delivery. Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables. Key Requirements: Master's and/or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred. Three to four Years' experience as a Software Engineer. Knowledge in Angular JS, ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server, Object Oriented Concepts. Designing enterprise software solutions using Object-oriented analysis & Design (OOAD) & methodologies. Good communications skills, both in written and verbal. Strong product development and engineering skills. Microsoft certifications (Optional) Good knowledge of the software business and its practices.

IT Application & Web Senior Officer (PSS) - -Dubai
Dubai -IT Application and Web Support Specialist’s role is to deliver support for all key IT applications in the company in an efficient and effective way to meet business objectives. The primary responsibility will be to understand the Passenger Service System (PSS) architecture , be responsible for the availability and performance of all key application modules, web servers working closely with the systems, network and database counterparts to ultimately ensure availability and performance of all key revenue generating websites of flyDubai -. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Key Activities 1. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in the PSS Application layer working closely with counter parts in Infrastructure. 2. Troubleshoot end to end any connectivity, performance or transactional issues within PSS System covering the 3 tier architecture (web, application, database) including payment/credit card transactions within the Payment gateways. 3. Triaging and analyzing application, data and upstream/downstream integration issues 4. Monitor Alert notifications, system logs and take appropriate action based on analysis performed 5. Coordinate with Application Architecture team for testing and deployment of new code releases or enhancements 6. Patching, certification renewal & downstream apps changes 7. Maintenance & downtime – communicate and coordinate with stakeholders 8. Act as gatekeeper for any applications coming into production by ensuring : I. Functional testing is satisfactory to production standards II. Load testing is satisfactory to production standards III. Penetration test reports and clearance from security team is ascertained MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS Minimum Qualification A university degree in business or technology. BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business. Experience At least 6+ years’ experience in Software Development. At least 6 years’ experience programming in Microsoft Visual Studio .Net, C#.Net, & SQL Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 Database, Reporting Services and Analysis Services Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 & IIS 7/8. Experience in scripting against windows i.e. PowerShell, VB ITIL Foundations V3 Certified. Thorough understanding and proven troubleshooting capabilities in an e-commerce business model, components and how each components are inter-linked with one another. Ability to identify issues that are happening in this chain and resolve them quickly. Knowledge / Skills Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, application design, and implementing major components for large projects Knowledge of monitoring tools, alert escalation, customer / vendor management etc. Build tools to automate production support activities that enable efficiency and productivity of Service desk and other operations groups Self-confident individual who is able to converse and communicate with different levels of the organization Certificate / License required Certification in ITIL required.
