We have an opportunity for an experienced, motivated, dynamic and influential individual to develop new client relationships as well as maintain existing relationships within the sector, based in Dubai -, UAE. Interested candidates should have a background in the oil and gas or chemical industries, have strong experience in developing business for a consultancy and also have an understanding of the main issues associated with process safety. In addition, candidates should have outstanding interpersonal skills. Duties and responsibilities will include: Report to the company Client Relations Manager Work with the Sector Director to maintain an effective sector plan and key client plans Work with company Team Leaders to help develop business Find new clients, build relationships with valued clients and help to develop key clients in the middle east oil, gas and chemical sectors Develop and deliver client introductory and pre-bid presentations Co-ordinate/support responses to formal invitations to tender Required qualifications: Qualified to degree level Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the oil & gas or chemical industries Strong business development skills Knowledge of engineering consultancy and preferably with a technical safety and risk assessment bias Key attributes: Professional and relationship-oriented Personable, easy to work with, enthusiastic and positive Genuine team player Proactive and responsive Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Self-motivated Interested in expanding the business Practical, common sense approach Rewards: As would be expected by the high calibre of people we employ, we offer a highly competitive package of salary and benefits, including private medical insurance, contributions into a pension scheme and profit share.
