ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Educational Consultant's responsibilities include: o Guiding students in preparing their college applications o Revising student applications/resumes/college supplements/personal statements o Creating balanced college lists o Creating a roadmap of the requirements for each university and an action plan o Assist students in filling out the Common Application Providing student mentorship o Encourage students to take on leadership roles at their schools and in their communities o Nurture their community/service spirit o Promote a love of learning o Develop communication and writing skills o Encourage students to read Providing students with academic guidance o Guidance on course selection at school o Assisting students in choosing a college major o Creating a standardized testing timeline for each student Guiding students on pre-college enrichment opportunities o Researching and advising students on suitable summer programs, courses, or camps o Assisting students with their summer activity applications o Researching and advising students on extracurricular activities, internship opportunities, and out- of-school educational enrichment opportunities o Assisting other counselors in workshops/classes on specific components of the application process You will be expected to: o Be available to students during normal working hours o Answer e-mails and phone calls promptly o Act professionally at all times / be punctual to all meetings o Perform other duties as needed QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications o 1-5 years demonstrated experience in the field of US university admissions or within the Education industry o Undergraduate degree from a top-tier US university o Knowledge of the US higher education landscape and the admissions process o Experience and interest in working with adolescents to help them reach their full potential o Passion for education/counseling/student services o Professional communication skills, both oral and written o Computer skills o Willingness to commit beyond scheduled hours when necessary Desired Qualifications o Master's Degree in related field o Experience working abroad at a professional level in an institution of higher education o Experience living abroad to reflect ability to adjust to another culture LOGISTICS Salary Negotiable depending upon experience. Dubai -Job Purpose To keep the account of Jewellery, watches & accessories in the store and physically monitor the in & out movement of the articles from safe deposit and safe room for sales presentation purpose and uphold the security of the safes and articles therein Job Requirements Education/Certification and Continued Education High school qualification / inventory management course or training Years of Experience 2 – 4 years experience in managing inventory of high value item Essential Roles and Responsibilities Functional Roles and Responsibilities Take full custody of stock received, log them into system, check for shortages and damages, if any and advise Store Manager to log claim with supplier, shipper, or Insurance. Tag all items with price tags Securely open and close the safe room. Regularly and carefully control the movement of articles for sales presentation and secure a copy of invoice as evidence when the item has been sold. Continually check pending store transfer (STNs) to control movement of stocks and adherence to procedures. Monitor stock adjustments and free of charge (FOCs) Monitor and check stock transfers to suppliers for returns Coordinate and monitor the stock movement of the goods between stores on the basis of the stock transfer advice Coordinate and monitor the stock movement of damaged items/ repairs of sold items and liaise with the repair technicians/ repair shop to ensure the articles are delivered and received appropriately Maintain proper documentation and records of goods received, sold, at display in or outside the store etc. Post all invoices of the incoming shipments and goods purchased by the customers Provide adequate support to accounts/ audit personnel in performing stock take upon approval of the Store Manager Advise the Store Manager with information concerning stock levels Maintain cleanliness and order of stock inside the safe
