Your mainresponsibilities: Anopportunity has arisen for a Finance Executive – Accounts Payable to join theFinance department in Madinat Jumeirah. The main duties and responsibilities ofthis role: Managing JBR accounts payable section related to CAPEX. Coordinate JSS (Jumeirah Shared Service) payable team with their queries regarding supplier payment and assist them for any urgent request Reviewing of Capex invoice, Adaco batch reviewing & Uploading APD file in to SUN Posting Manual Capex invoices & petty cash batch and other payments, Printing Cheques and Advance recovery JV posting Providing next available AP code based on current supplier list for supplier creation Follow up and getting online approval and TT/Cheque signature and returning them to JSS for release/banking Receiving weekly payment proposal from JSS, Checking and summarising the proposal for FM approval Preparing Balance sheet Reconciliation Updating actual cleared payment details - Forecast Provide monthly prepaid paid and intercompany backup to JSS general ledger team Updating compliance check list Updating and sending Cheque on hand and Void report to JSS-AP Weekly received interim batch from payroll (Colleague vacation salary & final due), get it approved by the HR HOD & FM and prepare summary in order to obtain online approval from DOF and GM/HM Coordinate with JSS Accounts Payable team for the audit requirements Attending suppliers and department queries Assisting departments with urgent payment request Fixed Assets: Assistingwith Fixed Asset Additions Assistingin Capex Forecasting Verifyingand forecasting capex invoices UpdatingJBR Log sheet and CAPEX trackers ApprovedAFE and other backups to be saved in the mercury Assistingin preparation of PPE Balance sheet reconciliations AssetTagging and Physical asset verification and discussion as per the CAPEXschedule Other duties asmay be reasonably required by the HOD or management. About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have thefollowing experience and qualifications: Graduatein college (degree in Accounting) Experienceworking in similar role for 3 years or more Experiencein hospitality industry Proficientin English communication and computer skills particularly MS applications Experienceworking in similar role for 3 years or more Proficientin Excel, Adaco.net and knowledge in Sun system is an advantage About theBenefits: We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), thelocal currency of the UAE.
