Promote efficient and effective delivery of health care services; administrative tasks related to therapy planning, rota of therapists Experience Minimum five (5) years of experience of practice in European style physiotherapy No of Positions 1 Closing Date 31 July 2019 Job Details Assist Head of department in developing physiotherapy and therapy policies and procedures and make sure the policies and procedures are adhered to, by all physiotherapy staff Ensuring the set quality standards for physiotherapies are met Document administrative activities of the rehabilitation department Liaises with Physicians and Surgeons to discuss and support and to evaluate the therapy plan for patients of rehabilitation department, ward and OPD Responsible for assessing the patient in order to evaluate customized therapy plan Assist on evaluation and treatment plan for patients on curative and administrative sides Responsible for the proper assessment for the patients during first appointment Assist Head of department on administrative activities Follow official orders of the Head of department and higher authorities of the hospital, giving required feedback Plan, direct, coordinate, implement and evaluate European physiotherapy programs and standards. Follow any other duties instructed by Head of department and hospital higher authorities Working as a professional member of a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team, leading and scheduling physiotherapy team meetings Effectively communicating with staff members, health professionals, clients and family with regards to provision of physiotherapy services Contributing to, and participating in, education programs for residents, relatives and staff of Canadian Specialist Hospital Participating in continuing medical education and courses updating physiotherapy techniques and information Ensuring physiotherapy treatments are based on sound evidence of benefit Ensuring all adverse clinical events are recorded and reported Maintaining a safe work environment Assisting in the on-going maintenance of a safe work place through involvement in the implementation of safe systems of work Identifying and reporting hazards in the workplace Scheduling, organizing and executing internal training with therapists Enough experience on both administrative and therapeutic sides to be recognized as advanced physiotherapist; approved by the head of department and hospital’s higher officials Good communication and customer service skills as well as a good comprehension of English language.
