SharjahTemporaryWe're looking for an Instrumentation Designer to be based in offices in Sharjah (UAE)Key RequirementsPerform Project technical tasks assigned by the Instrumentation Discipline Lead and by the Instrumentation Engineer consisting in design, checking, layout definition, installation drawings and material definition of instrumentation installation elementsInterface and coordinate with the other Project Team Specialists and DesignersPerform 3D Instrumentation modeling activitiesJob DescriptionThe Designer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirementsA - Development Technology know how and Commercial supportB - FeasibilityC - Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development Prepare Instrumentation bulk material quantities (BOQs and MTOs) for cost and erection works estimates Support Discipline Lead to define man hours and cost estimatesD - Project ExecutionReview Client technical documentation and requirementsFollow-up subcontracted engineering activities and control subcontracted engineering documentsApply engineering design basis and guidelinesPrepare the technical documentation for Instrumentation bulk material requisitions and prepare, according to internal procedures, the technical evaluationsProvide technical support to Project TeamOptimise Instrumentation bulk material design ensuring minimal cost and complexity in compliance with the contractual and safety requirementsPrepare Instrumentation bulk material technical specifications Prepare Instrumentation installation drawingsPrepare Instrumentation BOQs and MTOsPerform Instrumentation 3D modelling design activities and participate to 3D Modelling reviewsE - Construction and start upProvide technical and engineering support to construction TeamPerform site engineering activities during construction and commissioning phasesJob Types: Full-time, Temporary
