The incumbent will continuously strive to exceed internal & external customer expectations, capitalizing the economic profit and return on capital investment, while embracing the Ignite Core Values.Job DescriptionResponsible for:Development, maintenance, safety, security and cleanliness of the School building and grounds, ensuring that the site and facilities are available for School use and other users at all times.The organisation and delivery of administration and support services across the School ensuring efficient and effective staff deployment and, with the Principal/CEO, recruitment of well-trained and high quality staff.Provide advice and strategic guidance to the Principal/CEO, Senior Leadership and Corporate Office on business, financial and operational matters and be accountable for their effectiveness using robust performance management systems.Ensure that all staff are supported with high quality continuous professional development and training which contributes to the development and achievements of the School.Support the Principal/CEO in achieving the key strategic objectives for the School through formulating and leading on specific aspects of the School business and/or improvement plan.To actively encourage, and lead on environmental sustainability targets across the School site.For key people development initiatives alongwith stakeholder relationship management.Look after the overall Fire & Safety of the Campus making sure the Security Staff know how to read, respond and silence the alarm panel out of hours. Implement the Fire Evacuation and Lockdown procedure with the DirectorManage the Security Staff with the day to day running of the Campus Safety along with traffic management for Student drop off and pick upLook after the safety and cleanliness of all buildings and grounds making sure that all defects are reported and rectified as soon as possible.Monitor all HVAC systems making sure all classrooms and workspaces are at 23c and making sure a suitable alternative area is made available in the event of an A/C breakdownWhole school rounds making sure the Campus is safe clean and ready for business every morning and any defects are resolved as soon as possibleWork with all HOD making sure any needs and requirements are met if possibleWork closely with the Clinic Staff making sure all certification is up to date and the Health Office is safe for useWork closely with Sports Staff making sure all Lifeguarding and BLS training is up to dateLook after and oversee the Pool Maintenance Company making sure the PH/Chlorine values are correct and the pool is clean for use every dayWork with the Transport Company making sure all Bus routes are checked and feasible and to make sure we have a Female Conductor for each bus. Laisse with the Transport Manager and OD on external trips for the StudentsCheck all 3rd Party Contractors and SLA's making sure all KPI's are adhered to and works are being carried out correctlyMake sure Staff Housing lists and Inventory lists are up to date and kept on fileCheck that all Departmental purchase needs are within the budget or in urgent cases bought through petty cash making sure all invoices are given to AccountsCheck every morning the School and Accommodation fault reporting system to help solve any issues Staff may havePrepare the 5-year CDP with the Director of SchoolPrepare the Annual Budget with the Chief AccountantSupport the Chief Accountant on the monthly cash flow projectionsWork with 3rd Party Contractor on Medical & Chemical wasteDirect support to the Cleaners/Conductors and work schedulesPrepare Summer/Winter works program with the Director of SchoolPrepare the School for KHDA/DM/DHA & Civil Defence inspectionsMaintain housing inventory lists and support Staff in any home issues as and when requiredCoordinate with suppliers on deliveries and returns as neededWeekly check on all portable firefighting equipment with Security and keep a log of findingsMonthly risk assessment of Swimming Pool/Pump Room and dosing systemDirect support to the Pool Technician making sure all PH/CHL test are recordedMonthly internal H&S Audit recording and rectifying any faults as neededOver & Above, Tasks Performed on requirement.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: AED10,000.00 to AED12,000.00 /monthExperience:School Facility: 2 years (Preferred)
