Job Description:

DubaiThe Dubai Production Planner is responsible for planning customer orders for release to the factory. This is a key responsibility within the Dubai Manufacturing division and involves working closely with Customer Services, Purchasing, Formulation Management & the Operations Manager. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES Planning Customer Orders on the IT system Review raw materials, solutions and base for each works order, to identify any shortages. Review yield of each works order, reducing where required. Coordinate with customer service to order bases on the automated machine which cause minimum weighing guideline constraints. For orders having minimum weighting guideline issues, coordinate with Formulation management and address the issue. Check if works orders have a special manufacturing instruction, and issue as required. Coordinate with Formulation management to substitute phase out bases from formula, before firming the Works Orders. Firm Works Orders in the system and assembly machine labels, packing sheets and drum labels. Release works orders to the factory based on priority and planned production completion dates. Other Monitor consumption of solutions and bases on daily basis to avoid overstocking and change MOQ / safety stocks where necessary. Complete picking exceptions. Monitor stock fragrances and issue new works orders where required Complete bulking up forms when part quantity of a required fragrance is in stock. SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED Good Communication Excellent attention to detail Ability to work autonomously Flexible & Punctual Good time management Ability to work under pressure Previous experience of working in manufacturing facility in an ERP environment preferably Microsoft AX.
