Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Serves as a clinical and management resource and professional role model for staff. • Ensures appropriate utilization of nursing resources. • Confers with charge person regarding patient acuity and/or staffing changes required. • Maintains an awareness of resource utilization, exercising care in the ordering and use of staff, equipment and materials. • Refers unit-specific occurrences or incidents to Head Nurse and Nursing Administration for follow up. • Responds to Code Green, Fire and Disaster Drills. • Coordinates with other departments as required. • Prepares reports and maintains records. • Observes and evaluates nursing care effectiveness on shift and communicates identified issues to Head Nurse or Program Director. • Actively welcomes new staff/students to the assigned area and participates in retention activities. • Participates on Nursing and/or Hospital-wide committees. • Upholds the organizational values at all times. Job Requirements and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Registered Nurse with country specific post registration program required. • Six years of acute care hospital nursing experience, including two years in a leadership position required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Administer first aid treatment or life support care to sick or injured persons in per hospital settings. • Observe, record, and report to Physician the patient’s condition or injury, the treatment provided, • Immobilize patient for placement on stretcher and ambulance transport, using backboard or other spinal immobilization device. • Maintain vehicles and medical and communication equipment and replenish first aid equipment and supplies. • Assess nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures. • Clean and decontaminate ambulance interior following treatment of patient with infectious disease and report case to proper authorities. • Accountable for operating and maintaining EMS vehicles and equipment properly, to avoid damage or breakage. • Consistently adheres to and implements EMS administrative and medical control directives. • Willingly completes administrative and clinical functions as assigned by the Charge Paramedic. Job Requirements and Qualifications: • B.Sc in Para-medicine Sciences • at least 1 year of minimum experience • Medium MS Office Package Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
