What you will be doing: You will deliver strategic user insights to our product team by designing, planning and conducting user research including ethnographic research, jobs to be done interviews, competitive benchmarking, touch point surveys, etc. You will analyse and interpret data from different sources (analytical, quantitative, qualitative) in close cooperation with our product analysts, triangulate actionable insights and present professional reports to key stakeholders You will form a design duet with our product designers to collaboratively design viable experiments by first identifying and deeply understanding target user’s struggles before exploring and delivering the most feasible solution in order to make progress on the required business goals fast. Manage user insights tools, budget and contracts with third parties. Keep abreast of new user research methodologies and evolve the craft within dubizzle and the OLX Group. You have over 5 years of experience with all forms of design research, both qualitative and quantitative, that span the product development life cycle from problem discovery, conceptualization to tracking progress after launch. Your drive towards deadlines is paramount. You have a Master degree or PhD in a human behavior related field (Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, etc.). You develop creative approaches to researching complex user experience questions and you know how to rally your team members behind them You have a deep knowledge of design principles and UX design. You know how to design a basic prototype. You are able to manage a research budget to get the most actionable results out of available resources. You have a proven ability to build positive, collaborative relationships within and across teams You are fluent in English (Arabic a plus!)
