Dubai -Job description: If you are seeking for a challenging role, you are commercially aware, sales driven, you can develop a healthy pipeline of projects and put strategy to achieve those pipelines and targets, you have strong relationship skills, you can Increase annual sales volume through lead generation and liaising consultants, architects and lighting designers to source, prospect and win industrial and commercial business opportunities for new buildings and retrofits using state of the art energy efficient lighting systems to meet annual sales targets, conduct site visits, prepare market penetration strategies, annual sales budgets, prepare pre-feasibility technical and financial proposals and attend industry networking and trade events. Prepare of technical sales presentations, RFPs, RFQs and tenders. This could be your opportunity to shine.Responsibilities: Determining customer’s specific technical requirements, product feature needs and provide solution selling techniques to meet the client’s demands.Hands on instruction with regards to developing a proposal of light fixtures that meets the clients budgetary, technical and aesthetic considerations.Determining customer’s project scope and definition of work. Estimating material, construction, and labour costs, and project timescales.Generating submittal packages (product data sheets; bill of materials; standard and customer drawings; layout and connection detail drawings; return on investment analysis; etc.)Perform Pre-sales activities such as wiring schematics, Quotations, submittals, Site Visits/Mock-Ups, Product Selection etc.Creating standard drawings for typical product applications; generating quotes; interfacing with facilities managers, contractors, distributors, architects, and other customer staff to ensure full functionality of products to meet customer needsparticipating and/or leading in site-surveys; attending pre-bid and pre-construction meetings; supporting installation activities; participating in product feature development by offering insight into customer needs and industry requirements; providing technical support for customer feedback to engineering, operations and customer solutions.Maintaining relationships by constantly updating them with the latest in cutting-edge lighting sources and solutions.Drive lighting products orders and sales to increase market share. Drive and establish product guidelines to define Sales and Orders for execution in the UAE market.Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and to the specification agreed.Conduct Customer, Market and Competitor Analysis.Responding to enquiries, attend conferences, seminars, and exhibitions.Create business development plans Requirements.Need to achieve target.How to identify, access and build relationships with the key decision-makers across the various project stakeholders.Requirements: BS degree in Interior design, Engineering on any technical field and preferably in electrical engineering. Post-graduation degrees and certificates (MBA, PMP) will be plus..Fluent in English plus Arabic. UAE driving license.Al least 5 years' experience in industrial and commercial lighting sales with a strong understanding of project and consultative sales in the new build and retrofit industry and generate new business opportunities with detailed list of achievements.Project management experience in Interior design and fit out projects in various segments such as Hospitality industry, Logistics, Retail, Commercial & LED Lighting, etc.Candidates must be able to demonstrate and provide examples of revenues project awards over the last 6 - 12 monthsKnowledge of major lighting manufacturers and the range of lighting products they offer.Strong financial and commercial acumen and price and contract negotiation skills.Experience of successfully negotiating and closing complex sales opportunities with "C level and technical decision makers.Experience performing sales application engineering for the commercial lighting industry, HVAC and/or lighting controls.knowledgeable in lighting electrical products selling to architects, designers, consultants and contractors. Able to present and sell lighting solutions to specifiers.Experience performing on-site surveys and plan take-offs.
