Dubai -Nationality : Any , but Arabic speaking candidates preferredExperience: Minimum 2- 4 years of customer service experience in a hospital setting in Dubai - / UAE.Experience in Patient services, billing in a health care setting preferred,Experience in managingDuties and ResponsibilitiesGreet, register and verify scheduled, pre-scheduled and walk ins appointments and enters all information required for admission or visit check in into the system.Perform positive identification of patients incl. Emirates ID /other photo ID. & liaise with patients regarding their insurance access eligibility- i.e. validate if the patient’s access (network) has a direct access facility at the hospital.Call the patients insurance helpline to clarify immediate insurance coverage for registration and appointment needs as required.Perform insurance verification either real time-through insurance portals, manual verification for insurance coverage, cross check of approval status and other coverage / eligibility checks.Conduct and manage appointment scheduling and management for clinics and patients.Check and ensure financial liability is discussed with the patient and consents form are signed by the patient at point of registration, new, follow up or re-visits.Collect (all forms of patient dues) deductible, co-payments, and not covered services under insurance; from the patientCoordinate with billing for any queries (internal or patient based) to complete the daily & final billing needs of the patient.Obtain signatures for all necessary documents which includes but not limited patients’ rights and responsibilities, financial and procedural undertaking.Obtain pre-authorization as per insurance and DHPO protocols when assigned at specific clinics (incl. but not limited to Obs.Gynae, Lab, Rad, Emergency Department, Physiotherapy, etc.)Explain hospital regulations, such as visiting hours and payment dues to patients and/or next of kin.Coordinate & direct patients to their specific location.Ensure that daily cash transaction and collections are completed are deposited as per finance & account protocolsAll other duties as assignedCreates reports to monitor KPI’sKnowledge & SkillsAbility to demonstrate patient satisfactionCall center, appointment scheduling, patient referral management.Ability to mumultiple tasks on timeExcellent communication and customer service skills, Arabic speaking skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsProficient in the use of PCs, electronic medical records software and MSOffice Ability to work rotating shifts as needed.Knowledgeable about medical terminologyWorking knowledge of various medical insurances.Knowledgeable about medical insurance systems/processKnowledge in Hospital OperationsCandidate can email to healthcaredxb2019atgmaildotcomJob Type: Full-timeExperience:2-4 of patient administrator: 2 years (Preferred)
