It is the responsibility of the Project Manager to organize, supervise and coordinate the project and the onsite staff (daily communication with superintendents on each operating project is expected) in order to complete the work on schedule, within the budget and to the quality of workmanship specified.Please send us your resume along with a cover letter elaborating your relevant qualifications and experience preferably in the flooring or construction industry.Project Manager Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) the following: Provide leadership and to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with all those involved in the project.Effective site planning and construction management.Co-ordinate the functions of the estimating, scheduling, purchasing, accounting and operations departments as they relate to the progress and completion of the project under his/her direction.Regular site meetings with Clients, Project Managers, QS, Surveyors and Site Staff.Regularly follows up on sales inquiries and site inspections during the course of installation.Collaborates with site teams to effectively achieve organizational goals.Complete and thorough knowledge and understanding of the Contract Documents, the General Contract and the Subcontracts Effective product presentations where relevant.Regularly review all drawings and specifications are, prior to beginning construction, for design deficiencies, impractical details and possible code violations, and through a meeting with the Architect or Client, bring them to a resolutionEnsure requisitions for subcontracts and purchase orders are prepared and submitted on a timely basis.Produce and review project schedules, incorporating dates and times for Owner decisions, availability of design information, procurement of materials and subcontracts, lead times for fabrication, and field installation, is established and maintained.Ensure prescribed quality control measures are implemented and maintained throughout the life of the project.Organize and train the on-site staff to the requirements of the project, and to assure that those individuals whose functions require the knowledge and understanding of certain documents and procedures, receive and understand that information.Multi-tasking skills to run multiple projects as efficiently as possible.Education: Minimum Bachelor’s in the related field. (BBA, Bachelor’s in Engineering preferable).Experience: 4 to 5 years of related project manager or site manager experience.Mandatory Requirements: UAE driving license, fluent English language proficiency and excellent presentation skills. Organizational, interpersonal skills and solid construction site experience.Computer Skills: Excel, Word & Outlook mandatory.Microsoft Project or other project management software preferable to facilitate planning, assigning resources, tracking progress, managing the budget and analyzing workloads.Desirable Requirements: fluent Arabic and experience in the flooring or interior design industry.WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES EMPLOYERJob Type: Full-timeExperience:Engineering: 1 year (Preferred)
