Dubai -AED10,000 - AED12,000 a monthA reputable construction company is looking for a Health, Safety and Welfare Manager for an international project in Dubai -. The candidate must have NEBOSH Diploma with 5 to 7 years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for the following:Advising the concerned departments in planning & organizing measures necessary for the effective control of personal injuries and Environmental degradation.Assessing risks for critical activities.Carrying out site HSE and Welfare Inspections in order to observe the physical conditions of work & work practices and procedures followed by workers, and to advise on measures to be adopted to remove the unsafe physical conditions and prevent unsafe behavior by workers.Checking and evaluating the effectiveness of the actions taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries and damages to the Environment.Conducting HSE and Welfare audits, organizing management HSE Meetings and monitoring the implementation of the resultant recommendations, auditing sub-contractors, HSE management system.Coordinating all of the HSE and Welfare activities.Coordinating the necessary training for firefighting and first aid team;Coordinating the periodical Emergency drills.Coordinating with the project manager and construction manager and cooperates with them to look for solutions to NCRs.Drawing up and updating the HSE Management Plan.Giving HSE induction to all of the new employees.Identifying & implementing the improvement in the plant, equipment, and processes to improve HSE at the site.Identifying the preventive/protective measures to face up the above-mentioned risks.Individuating and assessing work-related risks for HS&E.Informing the workers about the risks present at the site, the preventive and protective measures adopted.Investigating incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences and suggesting remedies to the Management.Issuing a Permit to the Work management system.Maintaining emergency preparedness and initiating an Emergency response, assisting in rescue and evacuation drills.Maintaining records, as necessary related to first aid, accidents, and occupational diseases.Managing the Emergencies Response System, together with the above-said organizations.Monitoring the Health, Safety and Environmental matters related to all of the activities carried out at Site.Organizing the Emergencies Response System with external organizations, such as Governmental firefighting brigade and hospital;Performing HSE Analysis.Periodically training workers on evacuation procedures.Processing accident statistics, monthly HSE statistics, reports & HSE schedule.Rendering advice on matters related to reports and investigations on-site accidents.Training the workers on the actions that shall be taken in case of an accident or in case of immediate danger.Work experience:5-7 year experience3-year experience in the gulf preferreably on managerial level.Qualifications:Degree or equivalent.NEBOSH DiplomaProfessional skills:Fluent in English. Arabic would be an asset.Wide experience in multidisciplinary teams and suppliers management.Able to coordinate and monitor all disciplines of Health and Safety across the projects.Able to implement and manage a safe system of work and encourage safety awareness and improvement.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: AED10,000.00 to AED12,000.00 /monthExperience:Managerial: 3 years (Required)Education:Diploma (Required)
