Dubai -Job Description: Review, validate and monitor all monthly investment accounting reports & journals provided by multiple custodian.Monitor and reconcile cash activities against multiples custodians in order to successfully calculate the net asset value of mutual funds, securities ,equities and bonds.Monitor groups & owner multiple portfolios' daily purchases, sales, paydowns and changes in income and perform daily account reconciliation.Ensure all fees charged in respect of investment management, custody and performance are calculated in accordance with the agreed contracted basis.Prepared monthly and quarterly analytical review of the investment performance to support director's decision making and interpret quarterly variances with explanations.Formulation and preparation of monthly budgets and targets for all existing investments.Process investment activities into accounting software such as booking accounting entries, monitoring investment income and expenses, and the performance of key reconciliations in order to produce a monthly financial report.Monitor important economic, political and market events which impact potential or current investments.Managing the interactions with banks and all investment relationships.Participate in analyzing current and potential investments.Review investment compliance reports and alerts received from the Custodians systems to ensure that the investment functions are acting within the agreed mandate.Develop processes, policies and procedures to ensure the effective control of the fund's investment accounting and control activities.Assessed the management fees and carried interest paid to custodians.Prepare investment-related work papers and schedules for the annual audit.Manage all investment-related taxes.Documents all key investment processes.Identify appropriate solutions for potential problems by analyzing account data.Ad-hoc analysis to meet director's information requests.Operate from one or two small companies the accounting daily (approx. 10 entries)Perform monthly account and cost control reconciliation fro this small companies.Candidate Requirements: Strong accounting knowledge or a financial services skillset that can be transferred to an analyst or research based role; Chartered Accountancy or CFA is a plus.Experienced working with private equity, investment firms, or family offices, either as a consultant or direct working experience.Effectively worked with all types of funds- domestic, international, equity, bond, and fixed incomeExperienced in Domestic Bonds, Foreign Bonds and Domestic Equities and International Equity FundsAlways operates with the highest levels of integrity and ability to function with discretion and confidentiality.Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and creative skills.Professional demeanor and be very well-spokenMeticulous attention to detailJob Type: Full-timeExperience:Accounting: 2 years (Required)Education:Bachelor's (Required)
