Our content is available in printed reports and across an array of digital platforms.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Country Editor (CE) position is an editorial and journalistic position involving significant travel. They are based in one of the 30+ countries we cover and are tasked with scheduling and conducting interviews with some of the top executives, policymakers, and investors in that country. CEs also write articles for our publications and website, as well as support advertising sales through their research. The CE is paired with a Country Manager who is responsible for advertising sales.This role requires excellent interpersonal skills as it requires extensive contact with high level officials and businesspeople. It also requires strong economic knowledge and language skills. Editors are tasked with a significant amount of writing and research. Over the course of the 4-8 months you are based in a country, you become an expert on that nation’s economic reality.Candidates should feel comfortable meeting executives, royal family members, and ministers. They should be adventurous and confident that they can establish friendships quickly in a new country. They should also be prepared to work hard and be largely self-directed.Compensation is in line with global standards, and is based partially on commissions. Many CEs earn over 70k Euro annually after an initial training period.
