Job Controller - Toyota Service Center Al Futtaim - Al Ain (Band C) The position which is solely responsibility for recovering resources used to repair a vehicle is the link between customer facing staff and the workshop. A controller must pre-advise any changes that affect a vehicle under his control and be able to give progress information on each vehicle on demand while scheduling work to meet promised delivery times. Duties: Technically competent to understand the customer needs and requirements mentioned on the repair Orders.Able to provide detailed explanation on jobs to be carried out on vehicle to the technician.Assign orders / jobs to available technicians as per the skill metrics / training certification.Assign repair order / jobs to achieve promised times. Notify service advisors / reception supervisor to revise promised delivery times where inaccurate, additional work authorized, parts delay, technical difficulties and ensure promised delivery time are met.Assign and follow up sublet jobs on the repair orders.Monitor technician planning board and daily schedules as per monthly roster.Follow Job Progress Control Board SOP to ensure chips visualize the progress, workshop capacity, pending orders, job stoppage.Monitor technician performance to meet set target of utilization, productive efficiency, and overall productivity.Monitor standard operation manual flat rates usage for every job, provide feedback if the same is not available / missing for possible update in system (SAP).Regularly follow up with technicians / technical advisors on the progress of the vehicles and record the same in SAP header text as per SOP to ensure service advisor can provide updates to customers.Communicate any and all changes that affects a vehicle to the concern person of the department e.g. Completion time, parts shortage, extra work, warranty rejection, damage found, delayed diagnosis etc. We’re here to provide excellent service but a little help from you can ensure a five-star candidate experience from start to finish.
