About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for an Executive to join the Sales Department inDubai - Shared Services. The main duties and responsibilities of this roleincludes: Assist all leads whichare delegated to you within the required months of responsibility, ensuring thatturnaround time is met. Provide frequentfeedback to Sales Manager on active leads ensuring there is a clearunderstanding of business on the books and potential conversions. Ensure accuratedatabase management and tracking of activities and information through activein Delphi, meeting company’s data standards. Maintain service levelagreement standards for internal relationships and ensure customer service ismaintained at an excellent level. Ensure all systems,policies and procedures (SOP) are in place for effective selling Engage with guests andcustomers within the hotel, at client events, industry gatherings and othersocial functions Conducts siteinspection effectively and professionally with thorough knowledge of clients’needs and hotel products. Meets with the EventsManagement Team on a regular basis to ensure that all event files areseamlessly handed over. Have excellent productknowledge including function space, audio-visual equipment, capacities, guestroom inventory, room rates and menus. Ensureall enquiries are managed to BDRC and Meeting scope scores in the area of eventplanning and service delivery. About You: The ideal candidate for thisposition will have the following experience and qualifications: Business orHospitality related degree from an internationally recognized institution A minimum of 1 yearexperience in a sales role within a hotel environment. Excellentcommunication skills in written and spoken English Solid overall salesbackground in the five star luxury hotel industry including a goodunderstanding of all key segments Understanding &experience of basic revenue management practices Good computer knowledge including Delphi and WordSuite.
