Abu DhabiAED6,000 - AED9,000 a monthWe are looking for a Purchasing Officer to buy products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations. You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels.Purchasing Officer responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs.) For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.Ultimately, you’ll create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.ResponsibilitiesSecure and ensure continuous supply of spare-parts, consumables, and process chemicals, as per needs and schedules and Review quality of purchased products.Research potential vendors and Assist in long-term evaluation of suppliers by developing market analysis and establish advantageous purchasing arrangements with common suppliers (Cost, delivery, quantity, etc.)Prepare and Negotiate contract terms of agreement ( sell or purchase) and pricing and Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers as well preparing of Purchase Orders.Develop, implement, and maintain appropriate processes, procedures, and practices for Procurement Dept.Maintain an updated record for order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases as well as purchased products, delivery information, invoices, etc.…;Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.Coordinate with Stores staff to ensure proper storage.Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trendsSkills and Qualifications.
