Dubai -AED5,000 - AED7,000 a monthJob DescriptionResponsibilities SummaryA construction safety officer can be responsible for the following duties:Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environmentConducts toolbox meetingsIs part of the project safety council and leads all efforts to enhance safetyThe safety officer reviews and approves all subcontractors safety plansVerifies that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to related government agenciesVerifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for usePromotes safe practices at the job siteEnforces safety guidelinesTrains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situationsConducts investigations of all accidents and near-missesReports to concerned authorities as requested or mandated by regulationsConducts job hazard analysesEstablishes safety standards and policies as neededPerforms emergency response drillsWatches out for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situationsResponds to employees’ safety concernsCoordinates registration and removal of hazardous wasteServes as the link between state and local agencies and contractorsReceives reports from and responds to orders issued by Department of Labor inspectorsHolding valid certificate like CSO OSHA, IOSHA, OHSAS, NEBOSH mandated testing and/or evaluations of the workplace by external agencies/consultantsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: AED5,000.00 to AED7,000.00 /monthExperience:Safety Officer: 3 years (Preferred)
