A REGULAR DAY AT WORK Commercial Organization APAC & MEA is responsible for management of sales channels, segment and category management, marketing and customer care, in the Asia Pacific & Middle East Africa Regions. Within this organization, the Head of Region MEA will be responsible for profitable growth across all Electrolux Professional categories of Food Services, Laundry System and Beverage, including but not limited to: defining and implementing the sales strategy for the Region; developing the market share of the categories within the Region; focusing on channel management by developing existing or new Dealers, MAM, Importers or open new sales Channels. overall leadership and organization set-up of the Region. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, engage and provide direction for the team and organization Actively drive sales to deliver on targets per country/area/territory defined together with the concerned global Product organizations; Secure adequate focus per channel within the region; Identify and realize synergies from sales and service channels; Coordinate support functions to secure maximum realization of synergies; Through contacts with distribution and end-customers ensure systematic flow of information on competition, market, new potential, new customers and feedback on products marketed by the company in order to enhance market knowledge and contribute to decisions concerning company products/market; Ensure definition of sales terms and company update with reference of laws, business regulations, product and technical-manufacturing rules Continuously improve the structuring of sales network in coherence with the market potential and coverage level. The Head of the Region is also responsible for the Regional P&L and EBIT: key metrics are Unit and Project sales, Service, Spare Parts, Regional Net Asset, No. of Dealers per area. Strategic but hands-on – analytical & forward-looking but still operationally strong EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Degree in Economics / Business Admin. or equivalent working experience; At least 10 years of working experience in sales and/or B2B; Experience in developing rapidly a business; Knowledge of local market (Sales Region), will be an advantage; Competition knowledge; Business understanding and process knowledge; Specific industry knowledge (Food Service and/or Laundry) will be an asset; Willing to travel whenever needed Fluent English. Other languages will be considered a plus. Category –HR jobs Principle Accountabilities Assist in the preparation of Nomination lists for training, through the sources; Performance appraisal, Feedback Form, TNA Survey, Shop manager requests, HR Net reports. Preparation of Attendance sheets, name plates & evaluation sheets. Ensure trainees are informed of the training schedule one week in advance of the training programme through Fax, Telephone and mail. Ensure collection of all training related data in the prescribed formats as per the training & development policies and procedures through HR net or otherwise. Ensure proper maintenance of training equipments in training hall – Flip charts, LCD, Markers, Video/Audio facilities, Note pads, Pens, Water, Tea break, Wash room & Lunch break requirements. Compile the attendance reports, external training invitations and collect training feedback forms after the training sessions and record keeping. Prepare certificates duly get it signed by Head of the department and file a copy of the same in employee personal files. Sending attendance sheets to payroll department for ensuring no deviation in salary payments. Assist in printing, binding and sending of revised jewellery fundamentals, employee handbooks and other training materials to all the outlets/back office Assist in the conduct of training exercises by arranging required materials. Assist the HR Team in documents scanning and uploading the same to HR Net. Perform any other task as assigned by Direct Manager. Skills Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills. Proficiency in Ms. Office Multitasking abilities. Excellent understanding of internet applications and E- Learning techniques. The ability to operate scanning, audio visuals and photography.
