The Genesys Consultant operates within the context of software development & will be part of a team of software developers to analyse, design, build, test and deploy the software developed for Genesys Contact Centre business of Al Futtaim Technologies In House Development Perform In-house product testing, quality testing. Develop and plan internal add-ons and product development. Working with teammates in upgrading in house applications to current Microsoft technologies with additional features to meet dynamic business needs. Project Delivery Ensure the committed timelines are met for the projects at customer sites within the agreed scope, cost, quality and timelines. Continuously upgrade the skills by self-learning and on job training. Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates. Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software. Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. Package and support deployment of releases. Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standard. Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget. Service Delivery Ensure Customer Satisfaction with the 24x7 Support. Analysing and resolving technical and application problems. The Genesys Consultant will report to the Support Manager, however, channels exists for direct communication with the Program Manager and other member from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required. To be a successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in engineering specialised in software / information technology / computer science. Masters in Business Administration is a plus. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) Certification, Genesys Certification is an asset. Minimum 8 years of experience in in Genesys Composer 8.x, minimum 5 years of experience in leading the solution delivery activity at customer site. Expert level of technical Skills in - Developing Genesys IVR in Genesys Composer 8.x Developing applications in .NET and Java. Integrating applications with backend system using web services, SSL certificates etc. Genesys customization using SDKs. Developing Reports in window based, web-based applications and Crystal Reports. Responsible for Requirement gathering, Development and testing. Interacting with and training customers on-site on Genesys applications. Provide support for project implementation & documentation. Prioritizing workload to maximize productivity and minimize customer downtime. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts. Familiarity with version control concepts Preferred Competency Requirements Web Services Development in C++/Java. Integration with Banking and Telco Level Middleware Systems. Knowledge of client/server application development. Knowledge of unit testing, test case preparation etc. The Genesys Consultant will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities.
