Description
cardiologist diagnoses and treats patients with heart and cardiovascular problems. This involves consulting with patients about their symptoms, performing tests and surgical interventions, and prescribing treatment for ongoing conditions.
Responsibilities for Cardiologist
Assess new patients via a medical interview
Order test to confirm suspected conditions
Diagnose patients via lab and test results
Design a treatment plan for all patients
Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies to patients
Coordinate with patients PCP and Surgeon
Provide ongoing care and checkups on all patients
Pursue ongoing and continuing education to stay on top of the latest research findings
Requirements
Experience: 3 years
Bachelor degree
Masters or Doctorate (Preferred)
3+ years practicing as a Cardiologist
Extensive knowledge of modern cardiology practices and technology
Extreme attention to detail
Caring and compassionate bedside manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel to other hospitals
Ability to work on-call shifts
