Established almost 15 years ago, they now have a number of dedicated heliports and helipads throughout the UAE as their fleet has expanded. They are now looking for an ICAO B2 Licensed Engineer- type rated on AW139 to join their team in Dubai - on a permanent basis. The company specialise in providing helicopter tours, helicopter aerial filming, helicopter aerial photography and corporate helicopter charter flights in Dubai - and across the UAE. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, the Certifying Engineer is responsible for performing, controlling and certifying maintenance activities on the helicopter fleet, the supervision of staff placed under his control; and remaining current with company procedures. Job Description: – Performing, completing and certifying maintenance activities in accordance with approved publications/data and company procedures; using approved and correctly certified parts, tooling, materials; and ground support equipment. – The supervision of staff placed under his control during aircraft maintenance activities. – Liaising with the engineering department to ensure any unserviceability’s are correctly understood; correctly entered in the Aircraft Technical Logs and the management team are notified prior to rectification. – The completion, control and certification of work orders, work sheets and task sheets in accordance with company procedures and standards. – Ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy in accordance with MOE guidelines and local OH&S regulations. As applicable, reporting any faults to the Maintenance Manager to agree rectification action. – Control the use and serviceability of company tooling; ensuring the tool control system is used strictly in accordance with procedures and MOE guidelines. – As required; utilize the shift/ task handover form; providing both a written and verbal handover between outgoing and incoming duty staff; ensuring all company tools are accounted for and all uncompleted work and open defects are accurately reflected in the aircraft technical log and & associated worksheets – Work with other Engineers and Technicians to assist in trouble shooting and where necessary work with OEM’s to achieve serviceable aircraft – Comply with current OH&S, SMS and HF practices and proactively report safety issues to the management team. – Ensure ICAO licence qualifications are kept current at their own expense; therefore ensuring their company approvals and authorizations remain valid – Carrying out any other appropriate duties, detachments and out-of-hours work as detailed by the Maintenance Manager.
