These executives are also required to create and maintain client records. Successful telesales executives must be knowledgeable of the products or services he/she is selling and able to answer any questions clients may have. Good communication skills are essential for this position, as well as the ability to negotiate and deal with potentially stressful situations in a calm and reasonable manner.
