Dubai -We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Insurance to join our Risk and Insurance team. The Assistant Manager – Insurance will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Head of Insurance Risk in assessing the insurable risk of the Group and putting adequate insurance coverage in place. S/He will handle the policy and claims management on a daily basis and assist to develop/improve insurance policies/strategy to minimize the risks. KEY ACCOUNTABILITES Identifying and assessing business risks & arrange appropriate insurancesReviewing the Quote Analysis - Insurance clauses, Sub limits, Subjectivities/Warranties, Exclusions, PPW and NegotiationsPreparing insurance budgets for all Group entities Assisting in Business Interruption AnalysisAssisting in the Administration, management and renewal Group insurance policies; determine if amendments are required to the existing cover due to changes in exposures, activities or assets Determining insurance exposures & responsibilities of all parties involvedAssisting Treasury & Funding department with Notice of Assignment, Bank Endorsements & Insurance Advisor Report, in line with respective bank requirementsReviewing insurance invoices & release payments to the insurance providerMaintaining the data entry in the GRC system Managing Claims Reporting and Settlements, communicate with the relevant department(s) and insurance brokers, loss adjusters or third party insurers to ensure maximum and quick settlementReviewing contracts, SPAs, Purchase Orders and all other agreements and recommend appropriate insurance coverageDeveloping and Reviewing contract templates Overseeing the review third party policy certificates to ensure that they meet contractual obligationsNegotiating with third parties’ on clauses and limits in contracts Preference will be given to qualified candidates who meet the below requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or any related qualification 5– 8 years of relevant experience in a related industry Excellent communication, problem solving and organization skills Qualifications About Meraas: Meraas is a Dubai --based conglomerate that aims to enhance the emirate’s cityscape with a human-centric approach to developing assets in the real estate, tourism, hospitality, F&B, retail, leisure and entertainment, technology, maritime, and healthcare sectors.
