Dubai -Play Your Part Purpose: To manage assigned international market with strong focus on business development, account management, sales and marketing activity in addition to providing innovative stream of ideas to drive sales Main Duties: To provide day to day administrative support for assigned members of the Sales Team To manage all day to day activity for India & MENA (excluding GCC countries) Assess performance and drive representation office on day to day basis Manage relationships with source market partners and their associated DMCs to keep DPR front of mind; includes ensuring the annual commitment guarantees are being delivered to the agreed terms through monthly report and management To drive sales & marketing activity plan for assigned markets & ensure that DPR have market presence at all key booking and travel periods To ensure all relevant industry visitors to Dubai - spend time at DPR To monitor competitor activity and ensures senior management are always kept appraised To identify and propose new distribution & sales opportunities for DPR in the less established markets in Africa and the Middle East To take an innovative approach to assigned market(s) and drive market development and penetration of African and ME tourist arrivals to Dubai - (and the UAE) To take ownership of contracting and system set-up for all existing and new contracted partners To ensure that all market activity is compliant with internal rules To maintain an audit trail of all market activity To provide timely information to the administration team on committed activity to ensure all activity is budgeted and accrued correctly To maintain proof of execution for all trade marketing activity To monitor Representation Office performance and maintains a record of weekly activity To propose and implements improvements to processes and improvements Follow all relevant QHSE-IMS procedures and relevant legal requirements so that a certain minimum level of product/service quality can be guaranteed, personal health & safety, the safety of others and company assets are not jeopardized and the activities carried out are consistent with DPR’s vision of environmental protection and safety Are You a Star? Essential; Bachelor Degree Holder in relevant area of study At least 5 years’ experience in the attractions or hospitality industry Desirable; Sales & account management experience Minimum of 3 years sales experience in the UAE essential Basic understanding of POS systems Fluent written & spoken English essential.
