The facility is situated atfour locations all within 30 minutesdriving distanceof Dubai -.We are involved in local conservation projects as well as specific worldwide breeding programmed.The successful candidatewill be working alongside a full-time zooveterinarianandsupport staff. The clinic is equippedwith x-ray, ultrasound, microscope and surgery-, hospitalization- and post mortemfacilities.Essential qualifications:- Qualifiedveterinary nurse/technician- Minimum 2 yearsofexperiencefrom an advanced veterinary hospital- Fluency in both spoken and written English- Driving license (required)- Computer and IT skills- Strong communication skills and patience- Good organizational skills and work ethics- Ability to take initiative and work independently but also a team playerwith sensitivity and- openness to different cultures- Physically fit and capable of working occasional long hours outside in heat and high humidityDesirable experience:- Preferably some exotic/zoo animal experience- Both small and large animal clinic experience is advantageousTask includes:- Assist veterinarian in all aspects of animal health care- Anaestheticmonitoring- Assist in managingand organizing theclinic- Handling orders/prescriptions- Cleaning- Admin workand data input- Assist with record keeping- Maintain and help develop preventative measures, protocols and SOPs- Check-up and basic assessment ofanimals undergoing treatment- Hand rearing (participate in and overseeanimal care staff)- Training animals for clinical procedures and developing environmental enrichment- Overseeing and training zoo keepers- On call dutyJob Type: Full-timeExperience:Vet nurse experience (small animals & exotic animals): 2 years (Required)Education:Higher diploma (Required)Location:Dubai - (Preferred)
