Head of Technical - GMS leadership-Dubai
Dubai -The candidate will be responsible for the supervision of a mixed fleet of about 20 old and new vessels and offshore assets. This includes all technical aspects of the vessels from pre-purchase to resale, including but not limited to, the selection and supervision of external technical managers for the vessels, coordination with technical superintendents and various internal departments such as purchasing, operations, commercial, insurance, accounting, etc. Key Responsibilities This position reports to the CEO land will be responsible for all the technical aspects of vessels Skills & Qualifications Chief Engineer with minimum 2 years sailing experience on crude tankers and 5 years’ experience managing a fleet of 5 or more vessels. Experience in "old" and demanding tonnage is a PLUS.
