UAEFull-time, PermanentJOB TITLE Senior Process Safety Engineer REPORTS TO Safety Team Leader DIVISION Corporate HSE DEPARTMENT Site HSE PURPOSE OF THE JOB Deliver on site Process Safety initiatives in support of site operations, maintenance and engineering, to help improve Process Safety performance. Measure and monitor process safety elements and ensure compliance to ADNOC code of practice and OSHA's guidelines related to Process safety management (PSM). Job Scope includes observation, monitoring, and reviewing process operations, evaluate deviations, propose and implement process safety initiatives to prevent and mitigate loss of primary containment. DESCRIPTION 1 . Monitors the plant loss control program such as Process Safety accident prevention, hazard analysis, and training and inspection programs. 2. Analyses process safety near misses, incidents, accidents and recommends actions required to update the program to minimize recurrence of accidents. Follow up the status of the actions and recommendations. Maintains records of process safety incidents and prepares management reporting. 3. Reviews all plant process operations, identifies process safety deviations and proposes for necessary corrective action. Proactive monitoring of process safety related equipment, process safeguarding, and control logic to identify deviations and address for remedial actions 4. Participates in studies of new projects and plant modifications. Reviews specifications of equipment and materials on site to ensure process safety requirements are included. 5. Implements process safety audit program. Conducts process safety audits to verify compliance to process safety standards and follows up on corrective actions. 6. Participates to review process hazards in plant modifications, in development of the Five-year Process Safety Risk Engineering Plan, including quantitative and qualitative risk engineering. 7.
