Job Descriptions (Dubai -, United Arab Emirates) Looking for a Spa Manager for a 5* luxury hotel About the Role: As a Spa Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Spa Operation, marketing and promotions, operating criteria, programming, budgeting, VIP guest visits, staff relations and training. The Spa Manager will play a key role in the Spa's vision of success and guest expectation. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Ensure the establishment and execution of all departmental goals. Manage, train, and motivate all personnel reporting to this position. Serve as a link between the hotel and the spa industry. Promote and sell customized spa programs to conference groups as required. Promote all hotel and spa packages and promotions. Identify new business and marketing opportunities. Work with Corporate advertising, promotion and public relations as required. Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing, promotion and sales techniques. Administration and implementation of staff training in all aspects of the spa's operations i.e. business telephone usage, guest relations, spa services (massage, body scrubs, facials etc.), retail sales etc. Assist in the supervision, operation and coverage of all spa departments. Ensure effective communication amongst all departments within the hotel. Preparing the annual business plan, forecasts and marketing plan in conjunction with the other Department Heads and General Manager. Requirements: Positive attitude and good communication skills Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service Excellent grooming standards Flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situations Minimum of 1 years’ experience in management position in a spa or related field an asset.
