The main purpose of this role is to Manage and Develop the Casualty portfolio for MENA Region across Middle East, North Africa and South East Asia through Regional brokers, Cedants and Our Offices in Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi and Tunisia. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage, Underwrite and Develop Casualty Business for Middle East and North Africa (MENA) ensuring new business growth, renewal retentions, loss ratios and profitability in line with the defined underwriting guidelines and business plans. In addition to Casualty, assist in driving the growth of new products for CHUBB MENA including EIL, Life Sciences and Event Cancellation Build relationships with brokers, cedants, clients and actively liaise with CHUBB offices in Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi and Tunisia. Ensure the growth of portfolio is in line with the Global and Regional underwriting appetite and ensure satisfactory peer reviews and Audits. Train, delegate, retain and manage the team of Underwriters Maintain files and records in line with requirements Coordinate with internal teams with regard to bookings, credit control, compliance and other operational issues To work within the framework of Chubb ethical and service standards Adhere to agreed service levels both internally and externally and produce management reports within given deadlines. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Underwriting experience in the Insurance Industry in Middle East and Africa or other Emerging markets with P&L responsibility and strength in Casualty with a Multinational Company Strong technical skills in Casualty Underwriting. Having experience in EIL, Life Sciences and Event Cancellation a definite plus. Outgoing person with business development and relationship management skills Ambitious, Efficient, Organized and Result Oriented Good knowledge in using Office Package Ability to travel as and when required Graduate (minimum) ACII or similar qualifications preferred Fluency in English Arabic preferred INTEGRITY.
