Dubai -YesBuy General Trading LLC is looking to hire an Accountant with experience in the FMCG industry to join our growing team in Dubai -.Job Descriptions and Role: · Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.· Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.· Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information· Assist the Controller in the daily banking requirements.· Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.· Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.· Supports budget and forecasting activities.· Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.· Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.· Responds to inquiries from the Director of Finance, Controller, and other finance and firm-wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.· Work with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.· Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.· Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.· Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.· Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.· Work with each direct report establishing goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advice on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.· Support Finance Manager with special projects and workflow process improvements.· Specific Duties and Responsibilities:· Reviews investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.· Maintain a system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets.· Reviews Accounts Receivables/Payables and weekly payment runs.· Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves the transactions within designated limits.· Processing entries, adjustments, transactions for various subsidiaries.· Liaising with the internal auditors to implement control across the subsidiaries.· Completing the accounting process for all subsidiariesRequirements: · FMCG distribution and retail experience is a must.· ERP experience is a must (MS AX is more preferred)Experience within a fast-paced, high volume environment in FMCG sectorStrong IT skills including advanced excel, work with quick books and Magento systemStrong reporting and analytic skillsExcellent presentation and communication skillsAbility to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing prioritiesJob Type: Full-timeExperience: Accounting: 4 years (Required)FMCG Industry: 3 years (Required)Location: Dubai -Salary and Offers will be discussed during the interviewJob Type: Full-timeExperience:accounting: 4 years (Preferred)
