Dubai -Full-time, PermanentHR Manager - Job DescriptionJob Summary Develops policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties.Responsibilities· Managing company staff, including coordinating and supporting the recruitment process· Onboarding newcomers to the company· Determining suitable salaries and remuneration· Providing the necessary support systems for payroll requirements· Developing adequate induction and training· Supporting employee opportunities for professional development· Managing succession planning of staff· Assisting with the performance management and review process· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy· Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues· Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital· Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization· Nurture a positive working environment· Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance· Maintain pay plan and benefits program· Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs· Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics· Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management· Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.· Writes directives advising department managers of Company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.· Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with laws and regulations.· Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.· Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.· Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.· Writes and delivers presentations· Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.· Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.· Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and benefit plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.· Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.· Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.· Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.· Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.· Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.· Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier. Coordinates Safety Committee meetings and acts as Safety Director.· Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.· Prepares budget of human resources operations.· Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.· Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.· Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.· Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms, or relocation services.Requirements· Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive· People oriented and results driven· Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics· Knowledge of HR systems and databases· Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills· Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills· Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company· In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices· Degree in Human Resources or related fieldJob Types: Full-time, PermanentExperience:human resources: 7 years (Required)Education:Bachelor's (Preferred)

Play Your Part The PR & Social Media Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of the LEGOLAND Dubai - Public Relations & Social Media Strategy. Drive local, regional and international press coverage for the park, water park and the upcoming hotel. Manage and optimize social media sites and produce comprehensive social media campaigns. Strong collaboration with internal departments and external agencies. Main Responsibilities - Work with Sales and Marketing Director to develop and execute the PR & Social Media Strategy, generating positive publicity for LEGOLAND Dubai - Resort through a maximum number of communication channels including TV, radio, print and online both locally, regionally and in selected international markets. - Delivery of the in-house press office function, including day to day management of the PR & Marketing Coordinator. - Management of external PR agency - Develop Crisis management communication plan and keep up to date - Develop in-park event calendar to drive media coverage in close collaboration with Head of Marketing - Establish and maintain the voice for all social media initiatives and maintain an active an engaging brand presence; posts multimedia content, and facilitate dialogue across multiple social media platforms - Create engaging content for all social media channels and LEGOLAND Dubai - blog - Ensure strong liaison and collaboration with Merlin Entertainments Group corporate communication's team and Dubai - Parks Destination Management team - Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Head of Sales and Dubai - Parks Destination Management team to ensure close alignment on all Sales and Marketing activities. - Work closely with Operations (Guest Services) on communication to consumers via mail, social media or direct guest contact - Manage VIP and celebrity park visits - Ensure PR team supports internal communication including Health & Safety Managers/Supervisors are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their department, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees under their management are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it. They must ensure that safe working practices are monitored, and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated. Requirements Are You a Star? In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria: - Bachelor's degree in media studies, communication or similar - Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in a theme park or in the leisure, entertainment or hospitality industry or PR agency - Good understanding of local media landscape, experience with media in UK & Russia, India or China is a plus - Good network with local media - Excellent project management skill - Ability to work in cross-functional teams - Fluent in English, Arabic skills are a plus.
