The Automotive Protection department specialises in developing affinity insurance solutions to the global automotive sector providing Extended Warranty, Guarantee Asset Protection and Involuntary Unemployment. This highly successful department is growing at a fast rate and is looking to expand its team in the Middle East. The individual will need to be a self-starter, demonstrate leadership skills, excellent analytical skills and very good knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly MS Access and Excel. You need to be adaptable, enthusiastic and have a strong ability to learn and problem solve. An enthusiasm to learn is essential and a background in Insurance will be an advantage. One of the key responsibilities of the role is to help service our clients in the Middle East; they will make sure that processes are understood, followed and SLAs are adhered to. The role will involve but is not limited to: Ownership of operational process improvement initiatives from ideation to close, carefully managing all the interim technical & operational milestones Documentation of end-to-end operational processes by gathering business requirements and mapping processes, ready to offshore Developing and maintaining client relationships, resolving client queries whether financial, VAT or systems related in a timely manner and chasing and managing debt in accordance with payment terms Support the delivery of change to the business by shaping activity and the work of others outside the London analyst team Collaboratively working across the business functions. Liaising with clients, senior stakeholders, IT developers, analysts, underwriters, account managers, claims, finance and actuaries Working within an Operational capacity to help fulfil branch administration and analysis Supporting the AP Account Manager with forecasting top line and supporting the underwriters in Business planning Due to the uniqueness of the Automotive Protection account, a definitive role cannot be scheduled. The ideal candidate will, therefore, have to be versatile and have the ability to adapt to any eventuality that might come about. They should have the ability to take ownership, think for themselves and act when confronted with unique situations. Requirements You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience: A minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent in a finance or analytical related degree Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (VBA desirable but not essential) Very good knowledge of MS Access (strong understanding of relational databases and ability to write queries, create reports, forms and macros is a must. Dubai -Play your part Purpose: The main purpose this position exists is to be Responsible for specific attractions supervision within the park, as assigned. Uses analytical skills to ensure that the assigned venues are meeting departmental standards for guest experience, team member satisfaction and financial goals while maintaining the highest safety standards at all times. Main Duties: Qualified candidates will be able to supervise the operation of select Attractions within the zone / park; must be willing and able to handle late nights; must be comfortable handling very large and varied audiences. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises and oversees the daily operation to ensure proper staffing, capacity, efficiencies, crowd control and guest services standards are being met. Performs coverage of a specific attraction or attractions, responsible for overseeing the operation, responds to guest and operational issues, communicates with various operational partners and is the first responder to operational and guest issues. Ensures the safety of guests by reviewing and revising safety practices and procedures and documents and responds to potentially unsafe conditions. Coaches and uses counselling forms to document and maintain safe team member actions in accordance with DXBE policy Responsible for developing, coaching and counselling Lead and Attraction Attendants. Manages labor budgets for assigned attractions. Monitors, tracks and records overtime and training projections and results. Mitigates overtime by adjusting staffing according to daily attendance projections. Analyzes and responds to various reports including but not limited to guest comments, capacity, downtimes, and incident reports. Focuses on guest and employee satisfaction. Ensures that each employee is greeting and interacting and assisting guest while maintaining an efficient, safe and pleasant environment. Ensure that GSAT initiatives and programs are in place to keep the workplace fun while increasing overall job satisfaction and efficiency. Maintains positive relationships and partners with other departments to ensure that departmental goals are being met while maintaining parks standards. Responsible for maintaining the quality, cleanliness and facility maintenance standards to ensure the assigned venues are “Show Ready” for our guests at all times Strong familiarity with safety standards- Escalates incidents (guest, facility, crew, experience) through Incident Reports and follows up on action plan for correction Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established DXBE policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
