UAEBrief Description Job Purpose Deliver support, advice and guidance on Environmental, Health, Safety, policies, procedures, programs and requirements Detailed Description Key Responsibilities: Conduct / organize hazard assessments, risk assessments, site inspections, industrial hygiene and environmental sampling to identify EHS related hazard in operational, maintenance and project activities and implement or direct risk reduction measures. Organizes EHS Committee Meetings and promotional activities including safety campaigns. Coordinates or conduct EHS training programs for Department staff to increase their EHS awareness. Deliver and update EHS Induction training and program. Conduct security inspection, investigation and supervise contractor security officers. Advises and controls the issuance of personal protective equipment. Coordinating OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 third party certification, implement programs, maintain required document and records and thereafter surveillance auditing through both internal and external auditors. Assist in maintaining emergency response plans, conducting emergency drills, pre-planning and training. Assist in incident and non-conformance investigations and tracking corrective and preventive actions to closure. Minimum Requirements Education: Degree / higher diploma in engineering subjects. Qualifications & Experience: Developmental position. However having a certificate in industrial safety is an added advantage. Preferably at least 2-3 years of operating experience. Computer Skills: Good basic skills Language & Writing Skills: Good Written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary. Other Skills & Competencies: Strong sense of job ownership, highly discipline, visible drive to excel and cooperative.
