Dubai -Position Overview Regular performance monitoring of inforce business (life and health) and recommend management actions as appropriate to improve the performance and feedback into underwriting and pricing. Liaise closely with admin, finance and valuation functions to ensure that there is appropriate reserving and the financials take into account the most recent view of the experience. Responsibilities Setup appropriate performance monitoring framework for each line of businessPerform experience studies on a regular basis by obtaining data in a timely and consistent manner from the clientsReport out the experience study results and discuss with stakeholders to identify actions to be taken to improve performance where appropriateFollow through on those actions to ensure they are implemented and track the impact of them on experience and feedback into the performance monitoring loopFeed the observations arising from the performance monitoring through to underwriting, pricing and claim functionsExperience analytics and market benchmarking to assist with setting up of competitive pricing basisResearch and analytics for new product/reinsurance structures development and pricing as requiredMarket analytics to identify potential opportunities for inforce block takeover, capital motivated or asset intensive dealsResearch and analytics to assess opportunities in new geographies within the Middle Eastern regionLiaise with admin, finance and valuation functions to ensure that the financials take into account the most recent view of the experiencePerform experience studies for clients as a value-add service and in the process gain more insights into the experience for sharpening our pricing basisPerform benchmarking studies (such as underwriting practices, product offerings etc.) for clients through surveys and other means as a value-add service where appropriateActively participate/present at industry conference/events to enhance RGA brandLiaise with Global Research and Data Analytics team to develop and execute data driven strategies (such as predictive underwriting) to grow business in the marketDevelop/train junior actuarial resources in the team on analytics tools and data checks/reconciliations Requirements Qualified actuary with 10+ years of experience in insurance/reinsurance Advanced knowledge and exposure to data analytics/experience study tools/actuarial software Excellent data analytical skills Excellent communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment and liaise positively with different stakeholder Ability to carry out the responsibilities largely independently Ability to continually improve the process and frameworks for quality and efficiency Ability to constructively speak-up and actively follow-up to get things Company Overview RGA Empowers Employees. Landscape BIM Technician - Atkins-Dubai
