DubaiPermanentAED8,000 - AED12,000 a monthJob Title: Logistics / Operations ManagerSalary: 8-12,000AED/month Contract type: PermanentLocation: Dubai, United Arab EmiratesImperium Commodity Search is proud to be working with a base metals trading firm in Dubai, looking to add an operations coordinator to their team to assist in managing their documentation and port import/export operations cycle.Our client offers a very attractive opportunity for the right candidate with the ability to grow with the business and increase their trading footprint as they continue their strong growth from the last couple of years over 2019/2020.Benefits: Fast growing metal trading firm with aggressive growth plans over 2019/2020Youthful and agile team with new non-ferrous ventures opening up this yearGenuinely talented and down to earth management team (we’ve had lunch with them, they are great chaps!)Strong bonus/performance structureResponsibilities:Manage the physical logistics of metal products (mine to warehouse / warehouse to port)Manage trade documentation including Letters of Credit, export documentation, insurance documentation, B/Ls, holding certificates etc.Work closely with traders on ensuring timely closing and transportation of productManage relationships with counterparties relating to letters of credit and insurance documentation (banks etc)Maintain relationships with ports/shipping firms for the transportation of metal (base metals – zinc, lead, nickel, tin, copper, aluminium etc)Experience:2-5+ years experience in a logistics/operations role with a commodities firmGood knowledge and understanding of letters of credit (LCs)Experience in dealing with ports/shipping companies for the discharge of goods / landingComfortable working with a front office trading team on timely allocation and management of the logistics behind metal tradesExposure to the international base metals trading marketsStrong operational/middle office experienceFluent in EnglishUnderstanding of INCOTERMS a benefitIf you meet the above criteria, please send your CV/Cover Letter to Mark Taylor or call 0203 927 5091.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: AED8,000.00 to AED12,000.00 /month
