Dubai -Job Summary: Looking for experienced and talented General Insurance (Underwriter / Specialist) in Dubai -, United Arab Emirates (UAE) Job Key Details Collect and review background information to assess the risk involved appropriately Handle correspondence in accordance with the mail handling procedures Maintain detailed and accurate records of policies underwritten as well as decisions made Respond to customer enquiries and complaints Evaluate statistical data using specialist computer programs, writing quotes and negotiating the terms with brokers and clients Process renewal documents and endorsements Calculate results for appropriate premiums Analyze insurance proposals Generate policy documents and process policy endorsements Organize for issuance of certificates or any other underwriting documents Undertake any other relevant task as assigned Job Qualifications and Experience At least two years of experience in the same field Must have a relevant Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline Strong maths and statistics skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Ms Office suite Excellent analytical and able to pay attention to skills Application Procedure: All qualified candidates are encouraged to upload their recently updated CVs
