Dubai -Job Summary: Looking for experienced and dedicated Contracts Engineer in Dubai -, United Arab Emirates (UAE) Job Key Details: Preparing various offers for clients before contractual agreements is set. Gathering and organization of data related to variations and preparation and update of variation logs. Review and certify Subcontractors invoices. Review Subcontractor’s contractual obligations such as Bank Guarantees, certificates of insurance, etc… Attend weekly progress meetings, preconstruction meetings, variation meetings, and other project management meetings as required. Review, coordinate and reply to contractual correspondences with Subcontractors, client, consortium partner. Gathering and organization of data related to contractual claims, study and preparation of findings, and preparation and update of claims logs. Issuance of invoices to client including preparation of progress sheets, detailed breakdown(s), and update invoices logs, coordination with project team to obtain updated progress and with client to obtain approvals. Create, update and maintain all contract administration logs and issue contracts reports. Provide recommendations and lessons learned for improving the contract administration and contract formation processes. Ensure the correctness and completeness of the necessary documents to support client’s and financiers’ requirements. Follow up on subcontractors’ adherence with Subcontract Provisions, and making the necessary adjustments as applicable. Job Qualifications and Experience The ideal candidate for Contracts Engineer must have relevant qualifications for this role Ability to draft, alter and draw up numerous contracts for clients. Must have Detailed knowledge within the engineering and contracting business Ability to calculate the project costs, investments, commercial bids as well as contractor payment and rates. Professional, friendly attitude. In this capacity, the RRPM must insure that all appropriate data is collected, coded and recorded in our front-end and back-end systems; and that systems are efficiently and smoothly available for data extraction and analysis. The role aims at assessing the business trends for budget analysis of both top line and bottom line components; also at giving inputs to the Retail Products Managers to help them to actively and proactively position each relevant product within the various distribution channels (pricing, underwriting, system gaps, business traffic, business conversion, target segments and other business tools). The RRPM is also in charge of the production and the analysis of Early Warning Indicators (EWI) and KPIs and is playing a key role to identify corrective measures enabling to achieve company’s strategic targets. Main Accountability: Proactively develop and implement new reporting practices Introduce new parameters targeting profitable risk selection Propose regular action plans to mitigate the risk of deviation to achieve better results Ensure Coordination, Response and Compliance with all UW Guidelines and regular Audits by EMEA-LATAM and the Group Review and reshape motor and non-motor pricing to accomplish our business goals Technically & commercially evaluate schemes and partnerships in line with the COR targets Transfer technical knowledge on pricing & reporting within the RRPO team: empowering & building capabilities QUALIFICATIONS Area / Business Knowledge: Business analysis (internally and externally) based on key and reliable data (our actual portfolio, market competition and global trends) Capable to identify the areas for expansion through existing and new retail insurance products Understands and utilizes additional reports to efficiently manage the portfolio such as EWI, KPIS, Retention Performance and others Expert in P&C Retail Knowledge of AXA Global Strategies to adopt and adapt the same in AXA Local Markets; Knowledge of the business environment (internal and external clients, suppliers, competition, industry, AXA Group and products) required for the proper performance of the role/job.
