Primary Responsibilities: The position will involve extensive travel Execute contracts that lead to revenue in accordance with budgeted projections, in a disciplined and timely manner Build, maintain and manage a pipeline of leads and prospective clients with US claim exposure Support regional strategy in terms of product, marketing, conference attendance and competitive intelligence Extensive analysis of prospective clients, in order to establish and refine the sales and retention strategy Lead response to Requests for Proposals (RFP's) from prospects and consultants Introduce team members to new clients and assist in the new client integration process Maintain current knowledge of all UHC products and services Effectively communicate UHCG strategies and mission to the marketplace Meet reporting needs of groups Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years sales experience in health or travel insurance Track record of exceeding quantifiable goals through the execution of an assigned strategy and action plan In-depth healthcare knowledge, understands important trends and understands U.S. Healthcare system Demonstrates knowledge of competitor strengths, weaknesses and strategies Intermediate to advanced knowledge of U.S. Networks and managed care Proficiency and experience in strategic business analysis and identification of new business opportunities Familiarity with reviewing and presenting contracts Bilingual English / Arabic Travel is required about 40% of the time Preferred Qualifications: International health experience Senior-level contacts within the international health or travel insurance industry Ability to build and maintain strong relationships including prospect and producer relationships as well as internal Ability to work well in cross-functional teams Strong consultative sales skills Ability to 'close' business Strong presentation skills Ability to influence and negotiate complex situations Ability to develop effective plans for achieving business/sales goals Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent planning and organisation skills Complex problem solving ability Ability to work both as a team but also have the personal drive to be a consistent self-starter Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application. Dubai -Play Your Part Purpose: * The Assistant Manager Strategic Partnerships and Commercial Project will be responsible for executing and service delivery of strategic partnership and alliances plan for Destination Management Department of Dubai - Parks & Resorts. He/she will interface, interact, and integrate across DPR stakeholders including Corporate Marketing, Destination Management, and asset operational teams in order to develop and integrate sponsorship programs with and aim to maximize sponsorship revenues. The individual will also collaborate with external stakeholders such as third party operators/suppliers to build and execute the sponsorship plan(s) to ensure optimum results in terms of revenue generation. S/he will be responsible for managing and controlling a detailed inventory of sponsor benefits and ensure that they are in line with the legal agreement. * The individual will assist the Senior manager -strategic partnership and alliances in the day to day functioning of the department. S/he will establish priorities, critical paths, service delivery plans, KPIs, MIS reporting, and other measurement metrics relating to sponsorship sales and integration. Main Duties: * Execute all Strategic Alliance and Partnership programs, which generate Sponsorship, Concessionaire and Marketing revenues for Destination Management. * Support Sr. Manager – Strategic Partnership and Alliances to perform a detailed audit of L&E sponsorship assets and opportunities and assess their monetary value. * Induct, Integrate and Manage relationship with the appointed sponsorship agency/Consultant. * Conduct presentations, manage meetings, negotiate partnership terms. * Act as the client’s/partner’s Single Point of contact (SPOC) and enable the roll-out of the partnership agreement. * Provide periodic updates in areas of sponsorships, highlighting market trends, competitive intelligence, and other relevant information to the greater L&E and Destination Management team. * Enhance the overall value (in Cash & in Kind) of the DPR Strategic Partnership portfolio. * Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement sponsor benefits. * Develop and maintain sponsorship forecasts and pipeline in association with the Senior manager – Strategic partnership and alliances which will act as a guiding report for DPR Sr. Management * Implement policies and procedures for sponsorship pre and post sales. * Conduct periodic analysis on the competitive sponsorship landscape (international, Regional and local) * Assist in developing monthly and quarterly reports for Sr. Management review. * Ensure that productivity and service delivery of the department is improved on continuous basis by keeping team members motivated and abreast of latest developments in the respective industry.
