Dubai -PermanentJob description Charterhouse are working with a leading international corporate fund services firm whose regional operations are based out of Dubai -’s financial district. Our client is looking to hire a young and ambitious Fund Accountant who can also be client focused within this support-based role. About the role You will be heavily involved in the provision of a full-cycle of accountancy support, to the accounting operations, across a range of asset classes spanning private equities, hedge funds, real estate & venture capital. The main duties shall cover the maintenance of general ledgers and transactional accounting, whilst having an oversight of the production of net asset value (NAV), with a review of performance measurability across the funds & products. In conjunction, the role shall also involve the production of financial packs and statement reviews; to provide adequate operational support to the fund management teams along with the required capital statements for investor purposes. These accounting undertakings shall also complete month-end closing along with documentation support and policy notes for financial audit review and compliance monitoring. About you The successful candidate should be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with a strong audit-related background coupled with an exposure to fund accounting and/or other areas of accountancy coverage within the financial services sector. The successful candidate shall also be required to act within a client-liaison capacity; whereby reports and presentations are accurate and delivered in support of investment-related decisions. This technically challenging role will require an astute Accountant with an eye for detail and an ability to work with a deadline driven environment.
