DubaiJob Summary: A nurse is responsible for the continual nursing assessment, observation, provision of a safe standard of patient care and evaluation of its results; preparing for and supporting the patient through procedures or tests, alerting physicians in a timely manner of changes in patient status, and timely documentation of actions taken. Each nurse is responsible for helping establish a therapeutic environment, teaching patients about their care, working co-operatively with others and for abiding by hospital policy and procedure. Participation in quality improvement is part of each nurse’s role and includes remaining current in one’s practice. In a clinic environment, a nurse’s primary role includes setting up equipment and assisting the physician; nursing assessment (mainly vital signs, Height, and Weight, with age-specific measurement in Pediatrics.) and observation; preparing for and supporting the patient through procedures or tests, provision of educational materials and timely documentation of actions taken. Qualification & Experience: Graduate of recognized and accredited School Nursing with BSN CPR Certified Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience. Ortho and Neurology experience is a bonus Licensing Valid DHA License or eligibility Valid license from home country Skills: Computer skills – MS Office, Email Evidence of continuing professional development Experience in managing untoward and unexpected situations Working knowledge of standards of care and practice Competencies: Well organized Accurate and attentive to detail Dynamic and energetic personality Proficient in spoken and written English language Confident communication skills Positive Customer Service attitude
